Sooner Party with Friends and Family

Landon attended his first OU Sooner football watching party (notice that I didn't call it a celebration). The only problem was that OU lost, and we had a living room full of Texas fans. OU was doing fine until Landon had an accident in his OU outfit, and we had to change him. We're pretty sure that's when and what did it for the Sooners. :)

In Nacogdoches, it's a tradition for many parents to take pictures of their children at our local Pumpkin Patch. So we thought we'd give it a whirl and start the same tradition.

Keith took Landon to his 8 week doctor visit, and the doctor told Keith that Landon was advanced (which we already knew of course) with head control. So when I came home from work, I found Landon's jumper out of the box, assembled, and Landon in it giving his gummy grin. He's so much fun now. He's alert, smiling, and very active.

Landon's 1st Halloween

Landon is going to be a giraffe for his first Halloween! I'm not sure what you do with a newborn for Halloween. We took him to Zoo Boo this past weekend...he slept the entire evening. It was fun to show him off regardless. I guess we'll dress him up on Halloween, take pictures, take his costume off, and go to bed. :)

Keith is a remarkable daddy. He can't wait to get home each day to get his hands on Landon. He's looking foward to getting to stay home with Landon for 6 weeks when I go back to work next week. These pictures are of Keith holding Landon in his one hand when Landon was 11 days old.

We took Landon to Oklahoma when he was only 2 weeks old. I was a nervous wreck about the trip, but it went quite well. He got to meet some of his family members that he hadn't gotten to meet yet.
